The People at Work survey is shutting down.
Here's your replacement.
The People at Work survey is being decommissioned through 2026. SustainWork is the Australian-built replacement: a validated psychosocial assessment and a compliance report mapped to the WHS Code of Practice. Self-service. Two weeks from sign-up to report.
Stage 1 · 1 June 2026
New registrations close
No new organisations can register for People at Work. Existing registered users can still run surveys and access reports.
Stage 2 · 1 July 2026
New surveys close
No new PAW surveys can be deployed. Historical reports remain accessible for extraction until the final date.
Stage 3 · 2 October 2026
Platform shuts down
The People at Work platform is fully decommissioned. No further access to reports, data, or benchmarks after this date.
Everything PAW did, plus what it didn't
Same validated hazards. Same evidence base. Plus a compliance report PAW never produced.

What happens to my People at Work reports after October 2026?
Historical reports must be exported before 2 October 2026. After that date the platform is fully decommissioned and data is not accessible. Export everything you need — your organisation structure, department mapping, historical hazard scores — and keep it in your own WHS records.
Can I keep using People at Work for this year's survey?
If you registered before 1 June 2026, you can run one final survey cycle until 1 July 2026. After that, no new surveys can be deployed. If your annual cycle falls after July, you need a replacement in place now.
Does SustainWork cover the same 17 psychosocial hazards as PAW?
Yes. The SustainWork survey screens the same 17 psychosocial hazards grouped under work design, work content, and workplace relationships, and is mapped to the 2024 Managing Psychosocial Hazards Code of Practice. The difference is what comes after the survey — a formal compliance report and a prioritised action plan, neither of which PAW produced.
How long does the migration take?
Two weeks from self-service sign-up to your compliance report. Day 1 is onboarding, days 2–10 is the employee survey, days 11–12 is report delivery. No setup call and no consultant debrief required.
What does SustainWork cost compared to People at Work?
PAW was free. SustainWork Starter is $2,000 ex GST — a one-off payment, less than a single day of WHS consulting. You get a formal compliance report and a prioritised action plan, neither of which were part of PAW.
